Former Red Boiling Springs High School standout Claire Fleming contributed as the visiting Lindsey Wilson (Kentucky) College women’s basketball team captured a 65-56 victory over visiting Cumberland University on Saturday afternoon.
In 24 minutes of play, Fleming — a freshman point guard — provided five points, six rebounds and one blocked shot.
She made 2 of 7 field-throw attempts (including 1 of 3 three-point attempts).
Lindsey Wilson improved to 15-6 overall and to 3-2 in Mid-South Conference play.
The Blue Raiders suffered a 78-54 loss at Campbellsville (Kentucky) University last Thursday evening.
Fleming played 21 minutes and contributed four points and two assists.
She missed all five of her field-goal attempts and made all four of her free throws.
