Kenneth Knight, age 78, of Westmoreland passed away Monday, October 1, 2012. Funeral Service were held Wednesday, October 3rd at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home with Dr. John Downs officiating. Interment followed in Crestview Memory Gardens with Wayne Knight, Andy Knight, Doyle Parker, Donald Knight, Edward Smith and Michael Smith serving as pallbearers.

Mr. Knight was born February 21, 1934 in Macon County, TN son of the late Noel Franklin Knight, Sr. and Maggie Sloan Knight.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Willie Knight, Franklin Knight, Noel Knight, Jr. and Elmer Knight; sisters, Mable Burton, Myrtle Brawner, Ellen Hall, Lucille Cox, Lula Parker and Earline Farley.

He is survived by wife of 60 years, Mildred Sanders Knight of Westmoreland; son, Eugene Knight (Jackie) of Westmoreland; daughter, Melissa Burgett (Stephen) of Gallatin; brother, G. W. Knight (Sandra) of Lafayette; sister, Katherine Troutt (Ray) of Sterling Heights, MI; grandchildren, Dr. John Downs (Jacqueline), Jacob Knight (Susan) and Jessie Knight; great grandchildren, Brigid Downs, Leroy Knight, Dustin Knight, Misty Dawn Knight and Cheyenne Knight.
