Derrick Smith, Middle Tennessee Regional Manager for Tennessee Department of Tourist Development, spoke at the February 26, 2013 Chamber of Commerce meeting. He shared information for the topic “Tennessee Tourism is Big Business.” He shared information about the impact that tourism has on Macon County. Macon County is rich with history. Come by the Welcome Center and get some information about attractions in the area.
