Mr. Earl B. “Brownie” Thompson, age 84, of Bethpage, TN, passed away Friday, January 4th, 2013.

Funeral services for Mr. Thompson were held on Sunday January 6th, 2013 at 2:00 PM from Woodard Funeral Home. Interment followed in Bradley Cemetery.

Brownie Thompson was retired from General Electric. He was a member of Church of the First Born where he served as a Deacon and Trustee for over 50 years.

He was preceded in death by his Father, McKinley Thompson, Mother, Lucy Mai Gregory, Brother, Peter Bob Thompson, Brother, Joe Thompson, Brother-in-law, Earl “Bub” Leath.

He is survived by his Wife, Bea Thompson, of Bethpage, TN, Son, Timothy Earl Thompson, of Bethpage, TN, Daughter, Sandy & (Ken) Ketchum, of White House, TN, Sister, Wilma “Sudie” Leath, of Bethpage, TN, Brother, Tommy & (Betty) Thompson, of Gallatin, TN, Brother, Prentice & (Ozzie) Thompson, of Bethpage, TN, Special Brother-in-law, Tony & (Paula) Helson, of Bethpage, TN, Sister-in-law, Ruby Tipton, of Mt. Juliet , TN, Sister-in-law, Marie Thompson, of Bethpage, TN, As well as numerous nieces & nephews and many special friends.
