The young RBS Bulldog team came out with a positive attitude to start the game. This attitude didn’t prove to match the outcome of the game. The Bulldogs offense seemed to struggle against the defense of the Clay County Bulldogs. The Bulldogs were only able to get 10 two point shots off and only made 1 of them for a total of 10%. They were able to shoot 14 three point shots. They hit 5 of those for 35.7%. They were only sent to the free throw line a total of 7 times, making 2 of those, for a total of 28.6%. Coach Michael Owens was quoted as saying “this Bulldog team is very young” (with 4 starters being sophomores and the remaining starter a junior). The team seems to have great work ethics and with more experience and playing time they will show improvement.

The Lady Bulldogs close this week with and overall record of 1 win and 6 loses. The Bulldogs record stands at 0 wins and 7 loses. As of this time, it is not know when the Pickett County game will be rescheduled. The RBS Basketball program is set to travel to Gordonsville on Tuesday, December 4.
