The Macon County Tigerettes started their season last Tuesday. They were going against the Livingston Academy Lady Wildcats in the Hall of Fame game. The Lady Wildcats would get the better of the Tigerettes in this game, as Macon County would lose this game 71-57.

The starters for the Tigerettes in this game were Terra Pryor, Briley Driver, Whitney Wilburn, Kailyn Brooks, and Kelsey Gregory. The Lady Wildcats had a big center, #11, in this game who seemed to bring in all the rebounds and put back almost every miss.

The first quarter was slow for the Tigerettes, as Livingston led 19-13. The Tigerettes would try to come back early in the second as Kailyn Brooks knocked down a three. However, Livingston would answer back with a three of their own. Livingston shot an extremely high percentage from the field in the first half. They led at halftime 39-23.

Livingston Academy came out after halftime firing on all cylinders. They would hit 2 straight three’s, and make their lead larger. At the end of the third, it was 58-40 Livingston. In the fourth, the Tigerettes attempted to come back, as they were only down by 10 with three minutes left. However, it wouldn’t be enough, as the Tigerettes would lose 71-57.
