A wreck occurred in front of the Dollar General Store and Post Office in Lafayette on Thursday afternoon.
A white Pontiac sedan driven by a Karen Deckard pulled out from the Dollar General parking lot and collided with a grey Dodge pickup truck driven by James Lancaster. Two elderly passengers in the Pontiac, a man and a woman, were taken to MCGH to be treated for minor injury. Both vehicles sustained some damage, and traffic was impeded for a time.
