She was born in Manila, Phillipines on May 20, 1926 to the late Eustaquio Sejane and Lorenza Salandanan Sejane. She was a homemaker and a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church. She was the widow of Willie J. Smith Sr. who died on October 17, 2007. They were married on September 16, 1946, at the Knox-Central Church in Manila, Phillipines.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Willie J. Jr. and Kathey Smith of Tompkinsville.; one daughter: Sarah Ann Knight of Lafayette, TN; 5 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a daughter Kathy Smith.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, August 16, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville. Bro. Gene Gearlds officiated. Burial was in the Neal Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Paul Turner, Joe Smith, Tommy Smith, Michael Goolsby, Noah Slaughter, and Jake Slaughter.
