Sitting Macon County Commissioner Ralph Doss decided not to run for reelection.

A two-way race to fill his soon-to-be vacated District 11 seat ensued.

It was settled in the County General Election on Thursday, Aug. 5.

Bryan Carter (101 votes) beat Timothy L. Keith (62 votes).
