Vision 2020 will once again open the doors to the Red Pump Café on Saturday, June 26 live from the dining room of the Armour’s Hotel in Red Boiling Springs. Our theme: “Celebrate America, Celebrate Freedom!”

As before, this is an open microphone atmosphere reminiscent of the live radio shows of the 1930s and 1940s. If you are a songwriter, singer, storyteller, poetry reader this is your night to shine. Sign in to reserve your spot at the microphone beginning at 6:30pm. The show will start a 7:00pm. Come to listen or come to perform. All are welcome.

The Red Pump Café will not only include performances by local talent but the Five Minute Mystery (old radio drama) and a community sing of favorite patriotic songs at the end of the evening. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun and enjoy the talents of local folks. Veterans are especially encouraged to attend as we would like to recognize your service to our country.

There is a no admission fee to the show nor are the performers charged an entry fee to perform. If you would like supper before the show please make reservations with Debbie or Dennis at the Armour’s Hotel (615-699-2180). Supper will be served prior to the show at 5:30pm.

Red Pump Café is open to “accentuate the positive”. Come “Celebrate America, Celebrate Freedom”!

Vision 2020’s purpose is to do and say those things that will build community spirit and encourage appreciation of the attributes of our town. You can follow our activities and plans on Facebook and www.redboilingspringstn.com. All local business owners, concerned citizens, past and present, are invited to become a part of Vision 2020.
