David Hayden Shrum, better known as Hayden - age 23 of Lafayette, passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Funeral services for Hayden Shrum will be conducted Sunday, May 30, 2010 at 2 p.m. from the Macon County High School Auditorium with Reverend Kenny Sullivan officiating. Interment will follow in the Macon County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin from Alexander Funeral Home, Friday 12 noon – 10 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. – 10 p.m., and Sunday from the Macon County High School Auditorium starting at 10 a.m. until service time. Family request that Memorials in form of donations be made toward a scholarship fund in memory of Hayden Shrum.
