Lafayette police are searching for the suspect or suspects responsible for an early-morning burglary at La Princesa, located at 1218 Scottsville Road.
A cash register and lottery tickets were among the items stolen, said Lafayette Police Department Det. Jason Roberts, who as of 5:30 this morning was still on the scene investigating.
Roberts said the burglary occurred about 3 a.m.
A front glass door to the building had been busted out.
An abandoned vehicle was found parked behind La Princesa and was impounded by police and could be related to the burglary, Roberts said.
