Last week, when the flood came, May 1-2, it was sad times again. Roads washed out, bridges gone. When the news came that the Palace over in Red Boiling Springs had to vacate 117 patients it was a great thing they are always ready to take care of people that need taking care of here in Macon County. Also helping other people. Also closed schools. Then they had to plan to have school. Parents had to get the children out for pick up and then to be back on time to pick them up when the day ended. It worked out well. Where there’s a will, it’s always a way. When people work together it always works. Everybody knows Macon County is a great and wonderful place to live.
Most everyone was watching TV. It was so sad everybody was hurting so bad you just could not keep from crying also praying for those that lost family also all they had. They will have to work hard and keep the faith.
Everybody has something to be thankful for. Everybody would like to say a special thanks to the Palace. Also how much you are appreciated at all times.

Vera Turner spent Mother’s Day weekend with her daughter Loretta Ranes and family. Vera always enjoys going for a ride and that is good.
On Mother’s Day, I had a quiet day. I would like to thank my family and friends for the phone calls. It helped so much. It made my day. Also made me so proud to have some one let me know some one cares. I’m so blessed.
On Sunday, I wish all mothers had a great day. If they could no see all the children she would get to talk to them that would be great.
It’s time to go until next time. Wish everybody a great week. Call a friend that don’t feel well. Let them know you care.
