In the wake of all this flooding in our area, I would like to note that there is a family in need of assistance.

On December 31, 2009, my daughter, Samantha Lee Baxter was killed in a car wreck.

Her best friend Kimberly Wooden survived, and is still in extensive rehab. Kimberly's family home was devastated by the flood waters.

This family is battling so many things on so many levels, I am asking Macon County to come together and help this family.

UPDATED: According to Crowder, the Wooden family has managed to clean up "most" everything on their property that needs to be cleaned up. However, the Wooden family is in need of somebody to mow the yard.
