For a third consecutive day, all schools in the Macon County School System will be closed Wednesday due to flooding conditions.

Contrary to an earlier report across the scanner, a final decision has not yet been made about Thursday.

"As of now our drivers are running their routes in cars and it is not good," Director of Schools Dan Hampton said shortly after noon on Tuesday. "We will let you know on Wednesday about Thursday."
