Macon County Arts Council's planned reception for the Overstreet Family had to be postponed this Sunday due to the horrendous rain conditions. The reception will be rescheduled for Sunday, May 23, 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., at the Leon & Marie Cothron Macon County Welcome Center.

Macon County Arts Council is pleased to announce there is a new exhibition hanging at the Macon County Welcome Center. Entitled "A Family Affair -- Four Generations of Artwork", this show features the works of the Overstreet family, including Mattie "Kate" Overstreet, Shirley Anderson, Dimple Wilburn, Gina Dillon, and Mallory Dillon. The exhibition is wonderful, one we know you will enjoy seeing.

On Sunday, May 23, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., please join us for a reception at the Welcome Center Community Room honoring this family. Everyone is invited to attend. The Welcome Center is located at 685 Highway 52 Bypass West, Lafayette, TN 37083.
