The Epsilon Chi Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi recently made a $200 donation to Mayfest.

Chapter President Amy Phelps presented the check to Haydem Shrum, the organizer of the May 8 event, which benefits the American Cancer Society.

Epsilon Chi is a service organization in Lafayette that supports many worth-while causes throughout the area.

Scheduled musical entertainment for this year's Mayfest include Katie Ballou, Michael David, Shattered Silence, Jason Gammon, Saint Silas, Southern Image and Mama Tried.

Also, there will be a cake walk, auction, food and events for the kids.

There will be a Corn Hole tournament with a $10 entry fee and a $100 prize. Signups for the tournament begin at 11:30 a.m.

For more information on the event, contact Shrum at 388-3103.
