The Macon County Saddle Club is starting with fresh new officers and would enjoy having a brand new audience.

The purpose of the Macon County Saddle Club is to provide a specific friendly community for horse lovers and a place for friendly competition.

The Saddle Club has entered the world of networking one fan at a time by creating a facebook page. It is run by the 17-year-old point secretary.

The older generation of saddle club members are happy to see the younger generation stepping up to keep the legacy growing.

"These kids are the future of our Saddle Club and if we don't teach them now and let them try then there isn't a future for it," Saddle Club member Jeff Ashworth said at one meeting.

The Saddle Club horse shows start Saturday (April 17) and the Saddle Club has extended an invitation for all to come and join them.
