On Saturday March 27th, 2010 the Macon County Soccer League opened their season with a Soccer Payday. Hundreds of players, parents, grandparents and soccer fans alike lined the fields to watch the soccer games. The playday consist of all the teams playing in their respected U-division half games. Teams played at least three half games to give each player a good practice day. The games were excited and packed full of fun and sportsmanship on both sides. The Macon County Soccer Board wants to thank all the parents and coaches that made this day possible for the young people of Macon County. Soccer is a growing sport and is very popular around the world. The Macon County Soccer Board is working hard to make soccer the best it can for all the youth of Macon County.
