A Scottsville, Ky. man has been charged in the burglary of a local market two months ago.

“Nothing was stolen,” said owner Randall Dixon of the burglary that occured on Jan. 16.

“He just knocked the front door in and was going to get some stuff, but he didn’t get away with it.”

Stevens, of Dover Church Road in Scottsville, is charged with one count of aggravated burglary, one count of theft of property, and one count of vandalism, according to the Macon County Sheriff’s Office.

MCSO Det. Jeff Brewer publicly announced the charges last Friday, March 19.

He will appear in court on April 28. His bond is set at $10,000.
