HS basketball: Season ends for Macon County, RBS girls' teams

The remarkable post-season runs put together by the county's two high school girls' basketball teams ended Saturday night, miles away from Macon County.

In a Class A sectional game in Chattanooga, Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences beat Red Boiling Springs 69-33.

CSAS advanced the state tournament. RBS was eliminated.

In a Class AA sectional game at Lewis County, Lewis County beat Macon County 58-50.

Lewis County advanced to the state tournament. Macon County was eliminated.
