Thanksgiving Service

Lafayette Missionary Baptist Church will have a special Thanksgiving service Sunday, Nov. 22. There will be a pot luck dinner in the basement at 5:30 p.m. Church services will be at 7:00. Bro. Tim Case will be the visiting preacher. Everyone is invited.

100th Anniversary Celebration

Martin's Chapel General Baptist Church at 112 Old Martin's Chapel Road in Portland will have a 100th Anniversary Celebration on Sunday, Dec. 6. Sunday school at 10 a.m. Worship at 11. Lunch to follow. In the afternoon, about 1:30, a history of the church will be shared.

Benefit Singing

Garrett's Creek Church, located four miles north of Westmoreland on Hwy. 31E N, will be having a benefit singing to help out on funeral expenses for Brenda Mungle Hauskins, who passed away in October. The singing will be held on Saturday, Nov. 21 beginning at 6 p.m. There will be several groups and individuals from various churches coming to help out with the singing. Please come on out and be with us that night. Any donation for the funeral expense will be greatly appreciated. For more information, contact Ken Hauskins at 615-644-5304 after 3:30 PM.

There will also be a booth at the Craft Fair at the Macon County High School in Lafayette, TN that will sell items with the sales going to help with funeral expenses also. The booth is called "Trisha's Crafty Creations". The Craft Fair is on Saturday, Nov. 14th from 9 AM to 6 PM.

Fellowship Dinner & Singing

There will be a Fellowship Dinner & Singing at Sadler's Chapel United Methodist Church Sunday Night, November 29. Fellowship pot luck is at 5 PM. Singing is at 6 PM Featuring the Kinship with Melanie Bowman, Marsh Briggie, & Dale Meador. Everyone Welcome!

Revival

There will be a Revival starting at Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church at 7 PM on Thursday. J. C. Cox and Don Veach will be preaching.

There will be a revival at Highland General Baptist Church Nov. 12th - 15th. Services are Thurs. - Saturday at 7:00 PM. Sunday at 6:00 PM. Evangelist, Bro. Gary Sullivan. Pastor, Bro. Don Rhoads and members invite everyone to come join us to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ.

White to Preach

Evan White will preach at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church on Sunday at 6 PM.

Ordination

Rocky Hill Missionary Baptist Church will be having an ordination for Bro. Gordon Gammons. It will be held on. November 21st at 1:00 PM.

Brawner to Preach

Bro. Phillip Brawner will preach at the New Zion Missionary Baptist Church in the Williams Community on Sunday, November 22nd at 6:00 PM. Everyone invited to attend.

Singing Convention

Macon County Singing Convention will meet this Saturday November 21 at 2 PM at the Long Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
