Macon Christian Academy announced a tuition decrease this week of over 30% for the 2013-2014 school year. The school, which operates under the authority of Macon Missionary Baptist Church, offers private Christian education for grades K-12, as well as Pre-K classes.
Tuition will go from $3780.00 per year to $2700.00 per year for Kindergarten - Grade 12. Pre-K tuition will remain the same.
“Because of increased enrollement, we feel like the Lord has blessed us with the opportunity and means because of this increase, to be able to lower the tuition,” said Principal Wayne Deering. The school, which has been operating since 2010, went from 19 students to 35 students last year, and expects to undergo the same increase this year. Deering said they expect to employ one or two new teachers as well.
“We have had services where students have been saved, joined the Church, many testimonies, and many, many, more blessings beyond explanation each day,” Deering writes on the school website. “All these blessings are from the Lord.”
Macon Christian Academy’s hours of operation are 6:00 am-5:30 pm. School hours are 8:00am-3:00pm. Tuition also covers Before and After child care for MCA students and the cost of child care during non-school days (daycare). They are open most non-school days for child care with a few exceptions for holidays.
MCA is located at 518 Church Street in Lafayette. For more information about rates, tuition, payment plans, curriculum, etc. visit their website at www.maconchristianacademy.org or contact email@example.com or call 615-633-7265.
