Constable and Lafayette Animal Control Officer Tom Dallas spoke at last Wednesdays Rotary Club meeting on the responsibilities of pet ownership, and his desire to educate youngsters and oldsters alike on proper care, restraint and rabies vaccination in order to comply with State laws and City ordinances regarding animals. The Rotary club is a service organization devoted to various projects supporting the community-at-large, including Makin’ Macon Fit, the Macon County 3rd Graders Dictionary Initiative, Boy Scouts, the Macon County High School Interact Club and the Junior High Interact Club, as well as scholarships.
