Billy H. Cook, 74, of Scottsville died at 3:41 p.m. Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green. The Holland, KY native was a retired employee of General Electric and A.O. Smith, a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. He was a son of the late Hershel B. Cook and Calsie Swindle Cook.

He is survived by one son:Hershel Cook, Scottsville, Ky: one brother: Gary K. Cook, Scottsville, Ky; three sisters: Fannie Gibbs, Indianapolis, IN: Joyce Carr, Lafayette, TN: Jonell Vaughn, Bowling Green, KY; one sister in law: Polly Dorris, Bowling Green, KY: several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one sister: Sylvia Crabtree; five brothers: Dion Cook, Jack Cook, William Ward Cook, Paul Dennis Cook and an infant brother, Jerome Cook.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Mahaney officiating and burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6:00 p.m. Friday at Goad Funeral Home Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Mt. Zion Cemetery Fund.
