Last Friday, the Macon County Tigerettes did battle against Clay County for the second time this season. The first time, the Tigerettes dominated Clay County. They did so again in this game, beating Clay County 56-32. Both offense and defense played a fantastic game.

The first half started great. Terra Pryor seemed to be everywhere. Whether hitting jumpshots or going in for layups, she played fantastic. She couldn’t do it alone, though. Kelsey Gregory played a great game, too. She hit buckets from everywhere. The whole team seemed to be ready to play Friday night. The Tigerettes had the lead at the half.

In the second half, the Tigerettes picked up where they left off. In the third quarter, Terra Pryor continued to play great. However, once the fourth quarter rolled around, Pryor was benched so young players could get some playing time. In the writer’s opinion, Macon County’s bench players are good enough to start for almost any other team in the state. The bench players took over the game in the game and propelled the Tigerettes to yet another win 56-32.

Terra Pryor led the Tigerettes in scoring with an incredible 22 points. Kelsey Gregory also had a great game with 10 points. Leah Anderson and Lyndsey Belton came off the bench with 5 points each.
