On Monday, November 19, the Red Boiling Jr. High Lady Bulldogs took on the Jr. High Lady Jackets of Trousdale County. The Lady Dawgs repeated what they did in Jackson County, holding Trousdale County to zero points in this game! The Lady Bulldogs played stellar defense and won the game 16-0. RBS overpowered the Jackets in every aspect.
The first quarter was extremely quiet. The only noise you heard were the shots hitting the rim and NOT going in, as the score was 0-0 after the first quarter. The second quarter, however, RBS slowly began to awaken by scoring two points. The score at halftime was 2-0 RBSJH.
After a shockingly quiet first half, the Lady Dawgs lit up the second half. The third quarter was just the beginning. Three points was scored in this quarter, and the score was 5-0 RBSJH. The fourth quarter was a completely different story. RBS put up 11 points in the fourth quarter, and they would take this game 16-0.
Macy Raines led the way in scoring with 6 points. Raines also had 7 rebounds. However, the player of the game had to be Caylie Gann, who had 5 points and 10 rebounds! Of those 10 rebounds, half of them were offensive! Gann has had 12 offensive rebounds the past two games, which is an impressive stat!
