Our family wishes to take this time to thank everyone for every act of kindness shown to us during our son, Jacob London’s accident and recovery. Thank you to the Red Boiling Springs High School coaches and families for the many visits to Louisville, donation of money, cards, signs and organizing a benefit road block. Thank you to the Red Boiling Springs High school football team and school staff for your worry, concern, cards and messages sent to Jacob. Thank you to one extremely special young man, Brady, who’s letter encouraged our entire family and gave us strength during those tough days.

Jacob did as you suggested and fought like a “kid”! It worked! You will forever have a special place in our hearts and in our daily prayers. Thank you to the people of Red Boiling Springs for your generosity at the road block. More than anything else, however, we thank everyone for their prayers. I am sure there were many things done for us that I am not even aware of. Just know that we thank you, each of you.

As every parent prays, we hoped never to be faced with such a moment, but we thank God that He had such good friends in place to help us through this difficult time. I am very touched at how your community treated my son as one of your own. We will never forget everyone’s kindness.
