Clyde Wilder, age 84, of Red Boiling Springs, TN passed away Thursday morning, November 15, 2012 at the Macon County General Hospital in Lafayette. Graveside Services for Clyde Wilder were conducted Friday afternoon, November 16, 2012 at 2 p.m. from the Bethany Cemetery in Red Boiling Springs with Jimmy Cook officiating. His pallbearers were Clyde Wilder, Jr., Kenneth Wilder, Glenn Wilder, Michael Wilder, Jason Denham, Ronald Wilder and Clint Wilder.
Clyde was born Thursday April 26, 1928 in Macon County, Tennessee, the son of the late Walter and Audrey Parsley Wilder. On January 29, 1949, he married the former Lucille Gregory, who preceded him in death on December 11, 2003. In addition to his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Morene Davis and brothers, Dayton and Clayton Wilder. He was a sawmill worker and a member of the Red Boiling Springs Church of Christ.
Survivors include: daughter, Wanda Wilder, Red Boiling Springs, sons, Clyde (Ann) Wilder, Jr., Lafayette, Kenneth Wilder, Gerald Wilder and Glenn Wilder all of Red Boiling Springs, sisters, Aline Hix, Smyrna, Delno Clark, Red Boiling Springs, brother, Clifton (Jonell) Wilder, Olmstead, KY, 13 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
