The Red Boiling Springs 5th and 6th grade basketball teams played their third season game at home on November 17. The Bulldogs hosted the Bulldogs of Celina. Going into this game it was obvious that the Bulldogs would be victorious but unfortunately it wasn’t the Red Boiling Springs Bulldogs. The scoring summary for both games was as follows:

Scoring summary in girls play:

1st quarter – RBS Lady Bulldogs 2 and Celina 8

2nd quarter – RBS Lady Bulldogs 6 and Celina 18

3rd quarter – RBS Lady Bulldogs 13 and Celina 25

Final score – RBS Lady Bulldogs 13 and Celina 31

Scoring for the Lady Bulldogs was #12 Kameron Clark, #44 Keelan Arnett, and #00 Kennedy Fleming with 3 each. #32 Kailey Holland and #21 Chloe Kramer added 2 points each to the Lady Bulldogs total of 13 points.

Scoring summary in boys play:

1st quarter – RBS Bulldogs 3 and Celina 12

2nd quarter – RBS Bulldogs 9 and Celina 21

3rd quarter – RBS Bulldogs 17 and Celina 29

Final score – RBS Bulldogs 22 and Celina 40

Individual scoring for the Bulldogs was #15 Hunter Kirk with a total of 11 points, #11 Mason Hix with 5, #12 Mattew Murphy with 2, #23 Tyler Humes with 1, and finishing out the final score was #21 Dylan Gross with 3.

With the close of these games, the Lady Bulldogs record stands at 1 win and 3 loses while the Bulldogs record stands at 0 wins and 4 loses. The RBS 5th and 6th grade Bulldogs next game is an away game. They travel to Hartsville on Saturday, November 24th, to take on the Yellow Jackets. Game time is 10:00 a.m. Everyone come out and support the youth of RBS!
