To the Editor:

First I want to say, I am happy our President was re-elected to office. I feel sad that many of our friends and neighbors chose not to vote for him. I read almost every week in this paper about a fundraiser for a child or someone else to help pay their medical bills. This should not be.

If our congress will work to improve Obamacare everyone will have insurance. It is time. His re-election means our seniors will keep their benefits. They do not need to have to worry about this when they have health problems, and many time family issues as well. They do not need the added burden of worrying about their security that they have worked for. We have a real opportunity for peace in 2014. It is past time for this. Our soldiers are coming home.

This money saved can be used for roads, education, water systems upgrade, sewers, and many other things that have been unfunded. A direct benefit from this will be many jobs added. This will help grow our economy. The wealthy will have to pay their fair share. It is time for this to happen. They have become millionaires, and billionaires, while the rest of us have been squeezed unfairly.

We will have a good Christian man, honest and caring at the white house. Our kids will have a better education system in place. That means a better chance for our kids, and an opportunity to go to college. They will also now be able to keep their parents’ insurance till they are 26 years of age.

And finally Obamacare is going to save money for our healthcare. By cutting costs for med. And hospital services charges. Trimming costs by insurance and middle people. There has been no money taken from medicare, only these savings used to extend medicare for four more years. These are facts.

The tea party tried to used scare tactics and false statements. This is a terrible use of the position they were elected to. Thank God for the wise and blessed voters who knew better than this. I pray that our congress will do what is right, that our churches will come together, for the good of all. I believe our young people are wanting this, and that it will happen sooner rather than later. Thank God for the United States of America, our best is ahead. Do not let anyone tell you different and thank God for Barack Obama President of our United States.
