The K-9 dogs from the Macon Co. Sheriff Department continued their tour on Wednesday of Red Ribbon Week, making stops at Lafayette Elementary and Central Elementary. Handlers led the dogs through their demonstrations: picking a box of drugs out of several mystery boxes, tracking a smell across a large space, and attacking a perpetrator. At each school, the kids were audibly enthusiastic.
