Macon County Chamber of Commerce held an Existing Industry Appreciation Luncheon on Friday, October 19 in Key Park. They served up a menu of BBQ, slaw, beans, desserts, and drinks, and anyone who currently works in Macon was invited to attend. Lunch was sponsored by Citizens Bank, City of Lafayette, Cobb-Vantress, Farm Bureau, Macon Bank & Trust, Macon Co. Chronicle, Nestle Waters, NCTC, Town & Country Finance, and Tri-county Electric.
The Existing Industry Committee is comprised of Chairman John Ashburn, Richard Driver, Shelvy Linville, Jim Beecham, Brenda Hiett, Debbie Hughes, Lori Jones, Amy Phelps, Sarah Roark, and Jonathan West.
