Dear Editor,
Donations are being sought for the purchase of a tombstone to be placed in the William and Hannah Hargis cemetery located at 704 Union Camp Road. This will be a memorial stone for them and all their children. All of their names will be placed on this monument along with the birth, death, marriage, and parents of William and Hannah Howell Hargis. An account has been set up at Citizens Bank under Hargis Tombstone Fund. The cemetery has been recently cleaned. If you have a Hargis ancestor then it is most probable that these are your ancestors.
