Located on the premises of Chad and Belinda Wilson’s property, you’ll find Wilson’s Haunted Woods and Barn. The couple teams up with some good hearted guys and gals to create a night to remember with spooks and ghosts and all sorts of things you can’t see in the dark. This is the 13th run for the spooky attraction, and each year, with the help of volunteers and money from their own pockets, the group adds and improves to the excitement. They also try to change it up so no one ever knows what to expect. However, not to exclude the smaller children, they do offer a tamer version, upon request, where the children can walk through and the characters remain still.

“We just do it because we want kids to have a fun place to come,” says Chad, who says this gives people something fun to do locally instead of having to travel out of town.

There is no admission fee but they do accept donations. All donations go back into the community. The group donates locally to those in need. In the past, donations have been made to Toys for Tots, MCHS Cheerleaders, and to individuals who were in need of financial aid.

The haunted house is located on Drury Ridge Rd. off Old Hwy 52, just past the Macon County Fairgrounds. For more information, or to volunteer, contact Chad Wilson at 633-5842.
