Mrs. Carol “June” Bumpus Beecham, age 70, of New Johnsonville, TN, passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 in Waverly, TN. She was born in Denver, TN on September 1, 1941 and she was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her father; John Elmer Bumpus. Survivors include 3 children; Jimmy Beecham (Carolee), Lafayette, TN, Sharon Travis (Ralph), New Johnsonville, TN, Donna Beecham, New Johnsonville, TN, mother; Mary Faye Bumpus, New Johnsonville, TN, brother; James “Eddie” Bumpus (Judy), New Johnsonville, TN, 3 grandchildren; Allison Beecham, Carrie Thompson, and Taylor Travis, nephew; Charles Edward Bumpus, 2 nieces; Emalee Kate Buttrey (Brad) and Samantha Hamilton Ashe (Whit), 1 great niece; Rachel Catherine Buttrey. Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM Friday, August 17, 2012 in the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home Chapel, 2400 Hwy. 13 North, Waverly, TN. Rev. Paul Edwards officiated the service. Interment was in the Ebenezer Cemetery in New Johnsonville, TN.
