Mrs. Betty Joyce Dodson, 75, Hermitage Springs Community. Funeral Services for Mrs. Betty Joyce Dodosn age 75 of Hermitage Springs Community were held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 27, 2011 at Upton Funeral Home with Hubert Jones officiating interment following in the Pitcock Cemetery.

Mrs. Betty Joyce Dodosn passed away Sunday, June 24, 2011 at her residence in Hermitage Springs Community.

Betty Joyce Dodson was born April 21, 1937 in Clay County, Tennessee to the late Dalice H. and Alice Ruby (Birdwell) Brady.

She was retired from machine operator for Osh Kosh B’Gosh and is affiliated with the Union Hill Church of Christ.

Mrs. Dodson is survived by her husband, Donald Dodson of Hermitage Springs Community; Son, Curtis Eugene (Julie Dee) Dodson of Lebanon, Tennessee; Sisters, Wilma (Melvin) Reecer of Indianapolis, Indiana and Janice (Paul) Rhoton of Nashville, Tennessee; 2 Grandchildren, Candace Renae and Corinne Nicole Dodson

Serving as pallbearers were Melvin Reecer, Paul Rhoton, Curtis Dodson, Derek Robertson, Mike Ruth and Jerry Reecer
