On Monday morning, June 25, a man was transported from the scene of an accident with a possible head injury after he crashed his vehicle at Macon County Veterinary Hospital.

According to Tennessee Highway Patrol at the scene, 21-year-old Kyle Hall was traveling east on Highway 52 when he left the roadway and struck at drain culvert at the driveway of the veterinary hospital, which is located at 2586 Highway 52.

After striking the culvert, Hall traveled through a field beside the veterinary hospital and struck the corner of a building located beside the main building.

He came to final rest after striking wooden corral gates at the rear of the main building used to examine large animals.

Hall was transported from the scene by Macon County EMS and later flown to Vanderbilt Medical Center.
