Teen Art Classes are again being offered by MCAC. The first class of the series was on Monday. There will be a series of four clay classes offered, followed by a series of four drawing classes. The clay classes will run June 18, 21, 25, and 28, from 9 a.m.-noon; drawing classes will be on July 2, 5, 9, and 13, again from 9 a.m.-noon. All classes will be held at the Women’s Building on the Macon County Fairgrounds.

Linda Johnson has agreed once again to serve as teacher for the Teen Art. Linda always brings fresh, creative ideas to her instruction. This, coupled with her energy and enthusiasm, is why MCAC is so pleased she has again accepted our teaching invitation. Past classes have been very popular. MCAC believes teens will thoroughly enjoy learning art fundamentals in these fun, hands-on classes.

Cost of Teen Art Classes is $30 per four-class series. This fee will cover the cost of supplies. Teens from 13 thru 19 years of age may sign up for either the clay series or the drawing series — or even both if they choose. Students may register by calling 666-0646. Class sizes will be kept to 12 per class (the clay class currently has 9). Payment can be made that first day of classes.
