FCE Macon County visits Art Mill

Family and Community Educators (FCE) of Macon County attended the Art Mill and the Cuckoo’s Nest Restaurant in Lebanon for their 100% Membership Recognition Day. Members from United Neighbors Club: Nancy Doss, Shirley Palmer, Linda Sloan, Hortense Overton, Mary Stone, and Barbara Blankenship and Happy Homemakers Club: Edna Cothron, Lois Campbell, Wynona Clayborne, Robbie Ford, Betty Gregory, Dottie Hawkins, Opal Johnson, Karen Russell, Myrna Russell, Wanda Sandifer, Roberta Shoulders, Ida Tucker, Patty Petty, Connie Lytle, and Teresa Wilson and UT Extension, FCE advisor Lynne Knight attended.

FCE members earn points throughout the year in order to be 100%. Some of the activities include: attend County Council Meetings, be a club officer, volunteer/community work, work at the Macon County Fair in the Women’s Building, help with the Holiday Taster and more.
