A Civil War Skirmish will be held at the Westmoreland Expo Center May 4th thru May 6th 2012, located at 4011 Fleetwood Drive in Westmoreland, TN. Entrance may also be made at 4049 Bentle Drive off of 31 E. North.

This skirmish exemplifies Civil War activities in recognition of the Sesquicentennial Anniversary of the Civil War. Re-enactors arrive on Friday evening May 4th and begin to set up camp and display their wares in the designated sulter areas.

Gates open at 7:00 A.M. Saturday activities begin at 7:00 a.m. Reveille 8:00 a.m., Officers Meeting, 9:00 a.m. and Morning Parade, and Form for Drill. Artillery is in place and inspected by 1:00 p.m. with the first call at 1:45 p.m. and the formation for battle is at 2:00. Sulters are open for shopping through these events.

Sunday, gates open at 10:00 Sulter shopping, viewing of campsites and the authenticity of the Civil War Era, meet and greet the Re-enactors, and relive history. First call is at 1:45. At 2:00 p.m. the formation begins for battle and inspection. At 3:00 p.m. the battle ends and the Re-enactors pass in review.

The entry fee is $3.00 per day or a two (2) day pass may be purchased in advance for $5.00 at the gate, on Saturday morning, City Hall 1001 Park Street in Westmoreland, or the Westmoreland Expo Center 4011 Fleetwood Drive.
