Mr. Albert D. Poindexter, 77, of the Pea Ridge Community of Clay Co., passed away at the Cumberland River Hospital on Thursday, April 12, 2012. Mr. Poindexter was born on September 20, 1934 to his late parents Ervin and Mattie (Moore) Poindexter in Cumberland Co., KY.

He was a logger and a mechanic. He was also a member of the Ashlock Church of Christ.

SURVIVORS: Wife: Callie Poindexter. 1 Daughter: Patricia Poindexter. 3 Sisters: Jean & Ed Clark - Monroe, TN. Shirley & Billy Key - Celina, TN. Marylin Boone - Celina, TN. 1 Grandchildren: Ashley Jade Roach.

Preceded in death: In addition to his parents; 1 Daughter: Marsha Ann Poindexter; 3 Brothers: Dewey Lee Poindexter, Jessie Reed Poindexter, and Thomas Poindexter.

Funeral Services were held on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 12 Noon from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home in Celina, TN. with burial in the Williams Cemetery. Bro. Ken Miller officiated the service. Pallbearers: David Key, Dwayne Key, Danny Clark, Billy Key, Cecil Hogan, Daryl Poindexter, Jerry Williams.
