Kevin and Shari Bowers of Lafayette are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Brittny to Heath, son of Mary and LeAnne Dodson of Red Boiling Springs.

Brittny graduated from Macon County High School in 2006 and from Tennessee Technological University in 2010 with a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science and Education. She is employed by the Macon County Board of Education and teaches Physical Education at the High School and is the Macon Co. High School head volleyball coach.

Heath graduated from Red Boiling Springs High School in 2006 and from Tennessee Technological University in December of 2009 with a Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Engineering. He is employed by Natural Resources Conservation Service as a Soil Conservationist where he works in Claiborn County in Tennessee.

The wedding date for Brittny and Heath will be May 26, 2012.
