Amy Nicole Langford was born on June 18, 1990 in Lebanon, Tennessee to Troy Lynn Lankford and Judy Darlene King Lankford.
She is preceded in death by; grandfather, Roy King, great grandparents, Clarence Edward and Pernie Slayton Driver, Cephus and Dorothy King, and Mary Newberry, and great uncle, James C. Driver.
Amy was a 2008 graduate of Macon County High School and a current student at
Volunteer-State Community College; where she was studying for a degree in the Nursing field.
Amy was a hard worker and very energetic. She had recently started working for
Pep-A-Roni’s as a delivery driver, part-time. Amy loved this job because she was a people person, and she had never met a stranger.
Her musical talent was beyond average; Amy could play almost any instrument. She played piano, guitar, and the French horn, which was her least favorite to play but the one that she played the best.
Amy loved the outdoors; she liked running, hiking, riding unicycles and above all swimming. She could have lived in the water. Amy also enjoyed drawing, scrapbooking, and photography.
Earlier in life, Amy had been in an accident and went through many surgeries. It took a lot of courage and a year of fighting back, but she recovered.
Amy had been studying the Bible and attending Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church, when she was able.
Recently, Amy had lost her uncle, James C. Driver that she missed greatly. She is now with him in Heaven, and they are enjoying the view together. Her family and friends will greatly miss Amy, but our loss is Heaven’s gain.
She is survived by; Mother- Judy Cherry of Madison, TN, Father- Troy Lankford of Lafayette, TN, Father- William Cherry of Moss, TN, Grandparents - E.C. and Joyce Lankford of Lafayette, TN, Geraldine King of Red Boiling Springs, TN, Billy and Sue Cherry of Moss, TN, Brother- T. J. Lankford of Moss, TN, several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins also survive
