Mr. Henson was born in Clay Co., TN on July 24, 1944, the son of the late Earl and Florence (Newman) Henson.
He served in the U.S. Army and was employed as a electrician.
He is survived by his son, Chad (Michelle) Henson of Lebanon, TN; brother: U.L. (Nancy) Henson of Beechgrove, IN; nieces, Melinda and Bret Schuman of Beechgrove, IN and Teresa and Parrish Wright of Oak Grove Community of Clay Co.; and 2 great nephews, Christopher and Michael Schuman.
Funeral services for Mr. Cowen Henson were held on Monday, October 27, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home in Celina, TN. Burial was in the Underwood Cemetery in Lafayette, TN.
