School and Community Activities
Friday, October 24th - Pledge Day - Businesses and Homes hang a red ribbon or bow on
their door or mailbox. RBS Home Football Game: Give out red ribbons.
Saturday and Sunday, October 25th & 26th - Pee Wee Sporting Events (Soccer &
Football), Give out Red Ribbons. Churches are encouraged to participate by giving
out red ribbons to the congregation and hanging a red ribbon on their door.
Monday, October 27th - Patriotic Day: Wear red, white and blue to symbolize
"United We Stand Against Drugs". Hang out red ribbons to students, poster contests
at schools, and bulleting board, window or door decorations at schools.
Tuesday, October 28th - Be Cool and Join the Fight against drugs day: Tie Died Shirt
or Camoflage (Must stay within dress code - no face painting, caps, or toy guns).
Westside Balloon Release
Wednesday, October 29th - Team up on Drugs Day: Students, Teachers, School
Personnel, Parents and Community are encouraged to wear their favorite team's jersey
or colors. Ex. Bulldogs, Tigers, Titans, Notre Dame, Vanderbilt, U.T., etc. (must
stay within dress code - no caps in building).
Thursday, October 30th - Wear Red Day (Grade K-12) RBS Balloon Release
Friday, October 31st - Elementary - Drugs are Scary Day: Halloween Costumes (must
stay within dress code- no face painting, caps, or toy guns, swords, etc.)
Jr. High and High School - Drugs & I Don't Match Day: Wear non matching clothes.
(must stay within dress code).
MCHS Home Football Game: Give out red ribbons.
