The Red Boiling Springs Junior High School Bulldogs entertained the Bobcats of Pickett County Junior High School Thursday night. The Bulldogs started off in a hole because Pickett returned an opening kickoff. They played catch up the rest of the game. They could not stop #10.

With 7:39 remaining in the first quarter, Jeffery Tillman, tailback for Pickett County, took the handoff from Quarterback Aaron Reagan and ran 74 yards for the touchdown. The two point conversion failed. Pickett County 6, Red Boiling Springs 0. With 4:13 remaining in the first quarter, Quarterback Dakota Dickens for Red Boiling Springs, runs in the end zone from 5 yards out. The extra points are good. Red Boiling Springs 8, Pickett County 6. At the 3:16 mark in the first quarter, Pickett County's Jeffery Tillman make a 54 yard run to score. Tillman takes the ball in for the two extra points. Pickett County 14, Red Boiling Springs 8.

Then with 33 seconds left in the first quarter, tailback Jeffery Tillman goes into the end zone from 5 yards. The two point conversion fails. The score, Pickett County 20, Red Boiling Springs 8. In the second quarter, Kason Wix for Red Boiling Springs takes the handoff on a reverse and runs across the field into the end zone to score. Adam Ruis takes the ball into the end zone for the two point conversion. Pickett County 20, Red Boiling Springs 16. Pickett County will strike once again in the second quarter with Jeffery Tillman running from the 50 yard line to the end zone. The two point conversion is good. Pickett County 28 Red Boiling Springs 16. Just before halftime, the Bobcats get the football on their 5 yard line. Jeffery Tillman will take the ball from Aaron Reagan go around the right side of the line 95 into the end zone for the touchdown. The two point conversion is good. Pickett County 36, Red Boiling Springs 16, the halftime score.

In the third quarter, Red Boiling Springs Quarterback Dakota Dickens will run the ball 25 yards for the touchdown. The attempt for the extra points, good. Pickett County 36, Red Boiling Springs 24. With 5:38 remaining in the fourth quarter, Pickett County's Jeffery Tillman will take the ball 36 yards to the end zone. The two point conversion is good. Pickett County 44, Red Boiling Springs 24.

With the loss, Red Boiling Springs drops to 0-7 and conclude their 2008 football season. They Bulldogs are looking to improve in the spring and get ready for next year.
