Attention M.C.H.S. Alumni
The Macon County High School Homecoming Celebration will be October 10, 2008. This year those alumni who participated in the football SEASONS of 1983 and 1958 will be honored at half-time of the game.
Any football player, cheerleader, band member, or member of the homecoming court for these SEASONS is invited to be a guest of the MCHS Student Council. Any Alumnus who participated in these SEASONS should register at the table near the Home Gate prior to the Homecoming Ceremony. You will receive a free ticket to the game, and you will be honored at half-time of the Macon County / Station Camp Game.
Those who register will receive a ticket for a chance to win a cash drawing of $25.00. You must register at the table outside the Home Gate in order to participate.
MCHS Boys Basketball
All players will be selling Top Choice Sirloin- $28 8-10 oz steaks; and Breaded Chicken Tenders- #30 per case, 10 lbs per case, 2 - 5 lb bags, selling through Oct 20th, Call 666-7845 with questions Delivery will be on Thursday Oct 23rd.
WHS to host co-ed softball tournament
The Westmoreland High School softball team will be hosting their 1st annual co-ed softball tournament on October 25th, 2008. It will be held at Westmoreland City Park. Trophies will be given out to the 1st and 2nd place teams. Please contact Kyla Creasy, as soon as possible, at 615-633-8005 to reserve a spot!! Come help support the WHS Girls' Softball Team!! Entry Fee - $125.00; Date - October 25th, 2008; Place - Westmoreland City Park.
Splattering Onto the Scene
October 24-26, 30-31, & Nov. 1 starting at 7:00 p.m. - ??? Located on College St. in Lafayette next to Board of Education. Admission is $8.00. All proceeds will be donated to MCHS Softball.
MCHS Christmas Gifts & Craft Fair
The Macon County High School Girl's Basketball Team in Lafayette, Tennessee will present the 29th Annual Christmas Gifts and Craft Fair. It will be November 8 from 9 a.m. till 6 p.m.
All homemade crafts and gift items are welcome. The booths are $25.00 each. They are on a first come first serve basis. Concessions will be available. For further information call 615-666-5594. The Craft Fair will take place at the Macon County High School, located at 2520 Days Road, behind the Junior High on Highway 52 E.
If you had a booth in the craft fair last year and would like to have the same spot again, please indicate on the application. We apprieciate your support of the Macon Counmty High School Girl's Basketball Team and look forward to seeing you in November.
