In the account of a collision at the intersection of Akersville Road and the Scottsville Road in front of Pizza Hut which occurred on Friday, September 26, we plainly got the story backwards. The Lafayette Police report of the incident states “Vehicle #1 (driven by Mame R Muleek, 290 Larry's Circle, Lafayette) was at the stop sign of Akersville Road and Scottsville Road and Vehicle #2 (driven by Maala Mann, 700 Galen Road, Lafayette) was north on Scottsville Rd.”

The LPD report continues:

“As Vehicle #1 stated she did not see Vehicle #2 (and) pulled out in front of Vehicle #2-Vehicle #2 was unable to stop in time hitting Vehicle #1.”
