During the week of October 5th - October 10th Macon County High School will be celebrating their annual Homecoming Event. Following is a list of weekly activities:
Dress Up Days
Monday -Famous Couples / Hillbilly
Tuesday -Wacky Tacky / Inside Out (no undergarments worn on outside of clothing)
Wednesday - Famous Character / Biggest Fan
Thursday - 70's - 80's / Senior Citizen
Friday - TIGER SPIRIT
* Judging will take place each day, and those winning in each category will be awarded a prize. School dress code must be followed on Dress Up Days.
Powder Puff Football Games
Games to be played on Sunday, October 5, 2008:
3:30 PM - Juniors vs Freshmen (Game 1)
4:30 PM - Seniors vs Sophomores (Game 2)
These games will be held at Pat Parker Field. Admission will be $3.00. It is sponsored by the Macon County High Interact Club.
Championship Powder Puff Football Games
Games to be played on Sunday, October 26, 2008:
3:30 PM - Winner Game 1 and Winner Game 2
4:30 PM - Loser Game 1 and Loser Game 2
These games will be held at Pat Parker Field. Admission will be $3.00. It is sponsored by the Macon County High Student Council.
Trophy will be presented to winning team.
Bon Fire
The Bon Fire will be held on Thursday, October 9th at 8:00 p.m. at MCHS gravel parking lot.

The Homecoming Parade will leave from the Lafayette City Park on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 1:00 p.m.

Leave Lafayette City Park.
Turn right onto Days Road.
Turn right onto Oak Street.
Turn left onto Hwy. 52 Bypass.
Turn right at four-way stop. Proceed around square.
Turn onto Church Street. Turn left onto Fairlane Drive.
Turn right onto College Street.
Turn right at four-way stop onto Hwy. 52 Bypass. Turn right at next four-way stop onto Ellington Drive. Turn right onto Bratton Avenue.
Turn left at Sycamore Street. Proceed by football field and Central Elementary.
